Transaction-Based Verification Guide
Overview
The Cryptidz Token Gate supports two verification methods:
Web wallet connection - Connect and sign with your wallet (via web interface)
Transaction-based verification - Send 0.001 SOL from your wallet (via Telegram bot)
This guide covers the transaction-based verification method, which provides a way to verify $CRYPTIDZ holdings without a wallet connection.
Why Transaction Verification?
Advantages:
Works with any Solana wallet (hardware, mobile, desktop)
No browser or extension requirements
Proof permanently recorded on blockchain
Works from any device
Ideal for Ledger and cold storage users
How it works: You send 0.001 SOL from your $CRYPTIDZ wallet to prove ownership without exposing requiring special wallet features.

Detailed Verification Troubleshooting
Common Verification Issues
"We couldn't validate this transaction"
Check transaction type: Must be a SOL transfer, not a token swap
Verify address: Ensure you sent to the exact address provided
Confirm amount: Must be at least 0.001 SOL
Wait for confirmation: Transaction must be confirmed on blockchain
"Insufficient Balance"
Check token holdings: Your wallet needs $CRYPTIDZ tokens for tier access
Verify correct wallet: Must verify the wallet actually holding your tokens
Wait for token transfer: If you just bought tokens, wait for confirmation
"Transaction Too Old"
Send fresh transaction: Old transactions can't be used for security
Send transaction hash: Re-verify via
/verifytx
Don't reuse hashes: Each verification needs a unique transaction
"Rate Limited"
Wait required time: System prevents spam attempts
Don't retry immediately: Multiple failed attempts extend the wait time
Be patient: Rate limits are for security and will reset automatically
Finding Your Transaction Hash
Method 1: From Your Wallet
Open your wallet's transaction history
Find the recent SOL transfer to the verification address
Look for "Transaction ID", "Tx Hash", or "Signature"
Copy the complete hash (usually 80+ characters)
Method 2: Using Blockchain Explorers
Solscan: Go to solscan.io
Search verification address in the search box
Find your transaction in the recent transactions list
Copy the transaction signature/hash
Method 3: Solana Explorer
Visit explorer.solana.com
Search for the verification address
Locate your transaction in the activity list
Copy the transaction signature
Advanced Features
Multiple Wallet Management
One wallet per user: Each Telegram account can verify one wallet
Switching wallets: You will need to re-verify
Privacy & Security
Minimal data collection: Only transaction hash and wallet address stored
No private keys: Never share private keys or seed phrases
Secure verification: Uses cryptographic proof of wallet ownership
Data protection: User information handled according to privacy policies
Re-verification Scenarios
When You Need to Re-verify:
Upgrading tiers: Moving from Purple to Gold tier access
Wallet changes: If you move tokens to a different wallet
Access issues: If you're removed from groups due to balance changes or violation of community guidelines
Re-verification Process:
Use
/verifytx
command againFollow the same verification steps
Use your current token-holding wallet
Submit new transaction hash

Best Practices for Smooth Verification
Before Starting:
Ensure you have $CRYPTIDZ tokens in a Solana wallet you control
Have at least 0.001 SOL for the verification transaction
Use a reliable internet connection
Have your wallet app ready and accessible
During Verification:
Copy addresses and hashes carefully - no shortcuts
Wait for blockchain confirmations before submitting hashes
Don't attempt multiple verifications simultaneously
Keep verification address for reference
After Verification:
Don't share verification details with others
Keep your token balance above tier requirements
Report any access issues promptly
