Web Wallet Verification Guide (Recommended)

Overview

The Cryptidz Token Gate supports two verification methods:

1. Web wallet connection - Connect and sign with your wallet (via web interface)

2. Transaction-based verification - Send 0.001 SOL from your wallet (via Telegram bot)

This guide covers the web wallet connection method, which provides a seamless verification experience through supported Solana wallets.

Web Wallet Verification Flow

Step 1: Receive Your Verification Link

After initiating a conversation with Sol D Groger on Telegram:

1. Click "Verify Your Cryptidz Holdings"

2. You'll receive a unique verification link

3. The link contains a session token valid for a limited time

4. Click the link to open the verification interface

Important: Each verification link is single-use and expires after a set period for security.

Step 2: Connect Your Wallet

Once on the verification page, you'll see Sol D Groger welcoming you:

1. Click "Connect Wallet" when prompted

2. Choose your wallet provider:

   • Phantom - Desktop browser extension or mobile app

   • Solflare - Browser extension or mobile

   • WalletConnect (Highly recommended for Android users) - For mobile wallet connections

3. Approve the connection in your wallet popup

4. Sol D Groger will confirm he can see your wallet

Step 3: Verify Ownership

After connecting your wallet:

1. Click "Verify Ownership"

2. Your wallet will prompt you to sign a message

3. This message contains:

   • Verification text: "Verify your Cryptidz ownership"

   • Your unique session token

4. Approve the signature in your wallet

5. Sol D Groger will check your $CRYPTIDZ balance

What's happening: You're cryptographically proving you control the wallet without sending any funds. The signature cannot be used for transactions.

Step 4: Review the Rules

Upon successful balance verification:

1. Sol D Groger will present the community rules

2. Key requirements displayed:

   • Purple Tier: Maintain 1+ $CRYPTIDZ

   • Gold Tier: Maintain 100,000+ $CRYPTIDZ

3. Click "Aye aye captain!" to acknowledge

Important: Your balance is monitored continuously. Dropping below tier requirements will result in automatic removal.

Step 5: Access Your Group

After accepting the rules:

1. Sol D Groger celebrates your verification ✅

2. Click "Access My Group"

3. You'll be redirected to your tier-appropriate Telegram group

4. The invite link is single-use and specific to your account

Success! You now have access to exclusive Cryptidz features based on your tier.

Any wallet supporting WalletConnect protocol can be used:

• Scan QR code with mobile wallet

• Approve connection and signatures

• Works across devices

Common Issues and Solutions

Wallet Not Opening

Problem: The wallet adapter is not able to establish connection

Solution:

• Make sure you have a supported wallet app or browser extension installed.

• If you’re on a mobile device or tablet, we highly recommend selecting the WalletConnect option.

Signature Rejected

Problem: Cancelled or failed signature

Solution:

• Click "Verify Ownership" again

• Approve the signature request in your wallet

• Don't modify the message being signed

Invalid Session Token

Problem: Link expired or already used

Solution:

• Return to Telegram bot

• Use /verify to get a fresh link

• Complete verification promptly

Insufficient Balance

Problem: Wallet has less than tier requirements

Solution:

• Check you connected the correct wallet

• Verify your $CRYPTIDZ balance on Solscan

• Purchase more $CRYPTIDZ if needed

• Try again with the correct wallet

Wallet Already Linked

Problem: This wallet is verified with another Telegram account

Solution:

• Each wallet can only be linked to one Telegram account

• Use a different wallet with your $CRYPTIDZ

• Contact support to unlink if needed

Browser-Specific Issues

Chrome/Brave:

• Ensure wallet extension is enabled

• Check site permissions for the extension

• Disable Shields/aggressive blocking temporarily

Firefox:

• Update to latest version

• Clear cache if modal doesn't appear

• Check extension permissions

Safari:

• Limited extension support

• Use WalletConnect for mobile wallets

• Consider using Chrome/Firefox

Mobile Browsers:

• Use wallet's in-app browser when possible

• WalletConnect for external browsers

• Ensure you're not in private/incognito mode

Security Best Practices

What We Do

• Complete verification from a secure device

• Keep your wallet software updated

• Maintain your token balance for continued access
